Our clients come from every state in the USA and even overseas from Europe
and Japan. If Southeast Michigan is too far to fly your own personal airplane
for training, consider flying in commercially and scheduling our 2002 Cessna 172
for training. We can help make arrangements for accommodations
and vehicle.
Adrian is about 20 miles northwest of Toledo Express Airport and about
40 miles southwest of Detroit Metro. Clients arriving by commercial airline
can fly to either Toledo Express (TOL) or Detroit Metro (DTW). If you
arrive commercially, we will have a representative meet you at Detroit Metro or
Toledo Express to provide transportation.
Adrian's Lenawee County Airport has a paved 5,000' by 100' main
runway plus a grass crossing runway. The
Airport has two GPS approaches and an NDB approach. ILS and VOR approaches
are flown at Toledo Express and surrounding airports. Toledo is just a few
minutes away from Adrian and offers convenient access to class C radar-vectored approaches.
Adrian has a full service FBO (Wings of Lenawee) along with a self fueling
pump. Adrian also has a full time Maintenance facility along with an
avionics repair and authorized Garmin dealer.
A private hangar will be provided free of charge if you choose to bring a personal
airplane.
